A marketplace contains connected sites which are commonly businesses that are in some way associated with the marketplace theme e.g. a marketplace that features local businesses in a municipal area. These sites can easily be created either individually or by importing* them from a CSV file. As a marketplace owner you can create these sites and invite the owner of the site to own/manage them.
- Navigate to the Manage section of your market
- Select Sites from the tabs at the side of the page
- Select Create a new site
- Site membership identifiers are a unique number or name that identifies each site (it could be their association membership number). Site membership identifiers are created by default but can be changed to suit your needs. If you do not require the feature then you can leave it as the default number that is automatically entered.
- Enter the business name of the site, the main contact email address and a description of the business
- Select Finish
- Publish Changes
