If you’ve made the big decision to sell your business you will need to transfer the ownership of your Storbie website to the new owner. To make the transfer easy on you and the new website owner, we've created a checklist of what you should be aware of, like what assets and accounts need to be updated, so you can go through them one by one.

Storbie Website Login
With your confirmation, we can set the new owner up with access to the website under another login. Once they have accepted the invitation, we will be able to remove your access to the site on the desired date.
Website Subscription Payment
For the payment of the website’s monthly subscription, once the new owner has access, we can remove your account payment details and assist the new owner to apply their own payment method.
Contact Details
We can assist the new owner with updating contact information on the website, such as a contact email addresses or phone number.
Payment Gateway Account
If your website is ecommerce enabled, you will want to keep the history from your payment gateway, which was attached to your Storbie website. Getting the new website owner to create an account with their payment gateway of choice is the best way forward. There is more information here on the payment gateway integrations we support.
Domain Name
You will likely be registered as the owner of the website's domain name. You will need to update the owner's details with your domain registrar, which will include the completion of some paperwork to update the legal registrant of the domain. You will be able to obtain this from your domain name registrar.
