Dropshipping Configure Distributor Settings
Dropshipping is an approach to retail that allows you to accept customer orders and have them fulfilled externally. Once you have installed dropshipping you'll have a number of options on how orders can be fulfilled, and by the priority of who is fulfilling them.

This support article will cover how to edit and manage those options.

The way the dropshipping can be set up, product stock can be drawn either from your store or the drop shipper, with either one set up as a primary or secondary supplier. This means, that if your store runs out of stock, the distributor can fulfil orders your orders and vice versa. You can also exclude either option as a supplier.

When setting up dropshipping on your site, you will have to decide what configuration you would like to have it set to. 

This can be done by:

Step 1: Head to the Apps tab

Step 2: Scroll to the dropshipping app, and click Install

Step 3: Select the configuration, in which you would like to have your dropshipping set.


Step 4: Click Finish and publish to save changes

If you ever decide to change your dropshipping configuration, you simply have to

Step 1: Navigate to the Apps tab

Step 2: Click Settings on the Dropshipping app
