Enabling Dropdown Menus on your site
Dropdown menus conserve screen space and can help users narrow down their choices as to where they want to go and what they are looking for. By nesting links, the design of the web page is cleaner, with fewer links on the main page. This also reduces the number of clicks and page loads by making all the information accessible from a main menu area.
Top-level navigation menus and sub-menus are revealed when a user navigates through the menu items. Users are accustomed to this commonly used navigation scheme, making for an easy transition.
1. From the Manage area of the site click on Settings
2. Click on Appearance in the left-hand menu
3 . Select Edit Site Design
4. Click on the Navigation Style
5. Select Drop navigation
6. Click Finish
7. Publish Changes to Save
Note: You can opt to hide specified child pages from showing in dropdown menus by going to the page's Edit Details wizard then to Visibility and selecting "Don't display this page's child-pages in the menu"
