Product rules are a feature that allows you to create dynamic rules that affect the way products behave.
This first release of Product Rules enables you to do two things:
I. Hide a product's price unless a user is logged in to the site
II. Make a product's visibility Enquiry Only unless a user is logged in
The below is one example of how product rules can be used, as time goes on Storbie will build on even more rule options. Increasing the possibilities of what you can do to automate products behaviour.
NOTE: This feature is currently in beta, so if you would like to pilot it email support@storbie.com
Follow the steps below to enable product rules on your Storbie site.
1. Head to Manage > Settings
2. Select Product Rules
3. Click Create a new rule
For this example, we will make a rule that hides the price of practitioner-only products and makes them inquiry only. This will require the use of another feature called collections.
More details can be found at this link: https://support.storbie.com/s/article/Product-Collections
4. Name your rule
3. Define the criteria
a. In the drop-down options, select logged in and click add option
This will allow us to create a rule conditional on whether a customer is logged into your site.

This means a customer will not have to be logged in for this rule to be active.

d. From the drop-down menu select the collection that contains all the products you want the rule applied to. In this case, Practitioner only products.

b. Input the next two selections as set and Enquiry Only.
This will set the visibility of practitioner only products to be by enquiry only
c. On the next line, select Price Display from the drop-down options, and click add option
