If you have a physical store you can embed a Google Map onto any page in your site showing your location. This feature is a must-have, especially on your Contact page, to inform customers of your physical address.

Use your shop's address as your location on Google Maps.
To use your shop's contact information as the location for your Google Map you will first need to add your address on your Contact page and map that location. You may have already added your address, but follow these steps to ensure you have mapped the location.

  1. Navigate to your Contact page.
  2. Next to Address, click on the Pencil icon to edit and enter your physical address if you haven't already. A red and white sign with a pencil and a house<br><br>Description automatically generated
  3. Click Locate Address to map your location.
  4. Then click Finish
Once you have completed the steps above you can now add a Google Maps content item to any page on your site. Here is an example of how to add a Google Map to your Contact page.
  1. First of all, navigate to your Contact page
  2. Click on the + icon and select Google Maps from the drop-down. 
  3. When you enter the wizard, select the first option, "The map will display your shop's address" 
  4. Click Finish and check out your new interactive Google Map! 
Adding a Google Map by entering a custom address
  1. First navigate to the page where you would like to add a Google Map.
  2. Click on the + icon and select Google Maps from the drop-down. 
  3. In the wizard, select the second option, "The map will display a custom location." A screenshot of a computer<br><br>Description automatically generated
  4. Enter the address that you would like displayed on your map.

  5. Click Locate Address.
  6. Now you will see your entered location appear on the map, click Finish to save.
