Image File Upload
With the Image Upload feature, your customers will be able to send through an image file to you as part of a product or content form. Whether your customer is wanting to send an image of their prescription, a signed and scanned document, or a custom graphic for a t-shirt - image upload allows it all!
Note: This is a Beta feature, if you are interested in being a pilot customer please email support@storbie.com
Adding 'Image Upload'
1. Whether you are in the Content Forms Editor or Product Forms Editor, you will be able to see an Image Upload option.
2. Click on the + Icon and select the Image Upload option to add to the form.
3. You will then be able to add the 'field name' and any extra information you may want to provide to the customer, underneath the initial field name.
4. Specify if you want the field to be mandatory or not by checking the 'This is a required field' checkbox.
Images must be:
- Under 8MB in size
- Either JPG, PNG, or GIF formats
- Sites are limited to 100MB of uploads in a five minute period.
Specific Settings by Form
Content Forms
- If the Image Upload feature is added to a Content Form and the customer attaches an image, the Image URL is added in the email sent to the owner. The Image URL can only be seen when the shop owner is logged on.
- For security reasons, if someone attempts to open the URL in another window / browser tab, they will be redirected to the login page.
- If the Image Upload is set as 'Not a required field' and the customer didn’t upload an image, the image field can be seen as 'No image uploaded' in the email.
Add to Cart
- If the Image Upload is added to the add to cart form fields, depending on the option selection (show in cart), you can see the image on the cart page.
- On the Order Confirmation page, only the image name is provided.
- On the Order Details page, three options are provided for the shop owner to download, print or view the image from an order placed with an image uploaded.
- If the Image Upload is added to the checkout form fields when the order is placed, the image name is provided in the additional details.
- On the Order Details page, the shop owner can either download, print or view the image that has been uploaded.
- If the image is not provided for the checkout fields, a 'No value provided' message is displayed on the Order Details page.
