Adding a Page Gallery
You can add a gallery of pages to a page by adding a content item called a child page galleryChild-page galleries display a menu of links to the child-pages of the page that the gallery is displayed on.

For example, consider the site structure above. If you put a child-page gallery on to a page called Socks and that page has two child-pagesSports Socks and Business Socks, then the gallery will display two links, one to each of those child-pages. If you add another child-page under the Socks page then the gallery will automatically update to display it as well.

Child-page galleries are useful when you want a large, pictorial, list of links to a set of pages. A very common use is to display your product categories.

To add a child-page gallery

  1. Navigate to the page on which you want to add the gallery.
  2. Select the plus icon in the content area that you want to add the gallery to and choose Child-Page Gallery.
  3. Choose the display layout of the gallery or leave the default.
  4. Click NEXT.
  5. Choose how the images are cropped. Cropping the images can make the gallery look better by giving all of the images a uniform look.
  6. Click NEXT.
  7. Select a border type for the images.
  8. Click FINISH.
  9. The gallery of pages will be displayed.
  10. Note that when you are in edit mode you can add child-pages to the current page by clicking on Add Page in a child-page gallery.
Page Images
When the child-page gallery’s format displays images or text Storbie will attempt to automatically choose an appropriate image or text from the page’s content. For example, if there are products displayed on the Hats page, one of those product’s images will be chosen.
If the page doesn’t contain any images or text, or you want to override the default do the following:
  1. Navigate to the child-page (such as Bread).
  2. Hover over the THIS PAGE menu at the top of the page and choose Edit Details.
  3. Click NEXT twice to get to the image step.
  4. Upload the page’s image.
  5. Click NEXT.
  6. Enter summary text for the page.
  7. Click FINISH.
  8. If you now navigate back to the page containing the child-page gallery the page will use the image you have chosen.
