Importing Products from Toniq
If you have many products loaded in Toniq, you can save time transferring them to your Storbie site, by using our Product Import function. With our import tool, you can load thousands of products from an external file with just a few clicks!

First, you will need to export your products from Toniq to a .CSV for later import in Storbie. This should ideally be done on one PC (and the same PC each time) so that all the exports are saved to one location:

  1. You will need to make sure that you have your website products grouped in Toniq. This could be done using a catalogue, product type or department etc. Storbie recommends importing between 2000-3000 items at a time. So, if you have more than 3000 website products, split them into two or more groups and import each one at a time. If you are experiencing trouble with configuring this for the first time, we would recommend contacting Toniq directly.

  2.  Starting from the main menu in Retail, navigate to:
    6. Reports > 1. Product Reports > 6. Product details > Log in
If this is the first time that you are running this export:
  1. Click [F3 Add] to create a new report
  2. Give it a name that you'll remember
  3. Select your group. These should have already been set-up by this point.
  4. Click [F11 Page 2]
  5. Fill in the fields with the following:
  6. Click [F11 Page 1] then [F12 Accept Details]
  7. Rename "Export.csv" to something appropriate but leave the rest

  8. Click [F5 CSV File] then wait for the report to complete. After, click O Open File Location
  9. Make a copy of the file to somewhere safe (eg. My Documents)
  10. Now your file is ready to import within Storbie.
If this isn't the first time, reuse the named report from the drop list and follow steps steps 6-10 from the above.

Now that your file is ready, follow these instructions to carry out a product import within Storbie:
  1. Navigate to the Products tab in the Manage area
  2. On the right hand side, click Import Products
  3. Select the Toniq Import option
