Afterpay allows your customers to receive today and pay later. Afterpay increases basket size and improves conversion rates, all while making purchases more affordable for your customers. When buyers select the “Pay by Afterpay” option at the checkout, they are required to pay just one quarter of the total cost up front before receiving their order. The remainder owing will be paid in fortnightly installments.

The sale is treated as immediately completed and Storbie shop owners receive payment from Afterpay within 48 hours. As opposed to in-store layby, there’s no need to put stock aside pending a later payment and Afterpay assumes all non-payment risk.

Setting up Afterpay on your Storbie Site
1. You will first need to sign up to be a merchant with Afterpay. This is very quick and easy to complete and can be done here .
2. Once you have signed up with Afterpay, navigate to the Apps Tab in the left menu of the Manage view of your site. See below: 


3. Click on Install at the Afterpay option.

4. Enter your Merchant ID and Secret Key and then select Finish.

6. Your Afterpay Order Thresholds will be displayed here.

There is also an option if you would like to display the Afterpay Payment Breakdown on your Category pages.

7. Click Next.


8. If Afterpay has asked you to restrict specific products or categories, please enter the associated tags here. Then, click Finish.


Make sure you publish changes so this becomes available to your customers on your live site.
