Updating your page information on Facebook
Facebook does periodically reindex the information that they have stored about your website in an attempt to keep your details up to date, however it is possible that when you next decide to share your Storbie site on Facebook this information may be incorrect or out of date. To prompt Facebook to update this information follow the steps below.
  1. Copy the URL from your Storbie site's address bar. e.g. www.myshop.co.nz
  2. Go to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
  3. Enter the page URL that you would like to update and click Debug.
  4. Facebook will now show you the previous occasion of when the page was last updated.
  5. Click on the Scrape Again button to update the image and text associated to this page.
  6. You'll now see the updated information appear here instead.
  7. Now you can share your page on your Facebook page. The image should have been updated including any changes you may have made in your SEO settings.
